NYLF/MED was definitely one of the best experiences I've had yet. It was both fun and educational, and it really opened my eyes to the field of medicine. I met many friends there from around the country, and it was amazing how close everyone became in just 10 days. Although I had been exposed to medically related topics before, NYLF/MED gave me a view of the "real world" of medicine. I gained much inspiration from the speakers we met and the activities we engaged in.

Megan's experience was very motivational. She has a better understanding of herself and her potential. She also has a better understanding of how to relate to others. I believe she will carry her experience with her the rest of her life.

I will start off at first by saying that I was nervous! I never thought that I would actually gain the courage to travel 3000 miles away from home...but I was pleasantly surprised. Through my experiences at NYLF/MED, I have changed as a student in the pursuit of a medical career, and I have changed as a person, in the pursuit of great friends. This forum has opened my eyes to so many wonderful things and people, and for that, I will be forever grateful. These were truly some of the best days of my life!

An excellent and worthwhile experience to gain an appreciation of what a physician does as well as a great opportunity to network with high school students within the United States who share similar interests and high ideals for achievement.

The National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine was one of the best experiences of my life. It not only made me sure of what I wanted my profession to be, but it also introduced me to some of the nicest people I've ever met in my lifetime. The many different programs and activities that I attended were all great. I learned a lot. All in all I think the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine was worth every penny.

It was an honor to attend NYLF/MED. It was fun and I learned a lot. It was educational with a fun spin. I was unsure of whether or not to attend but I don't regret it at all. It was fun and I made some new friends! Go if you have the chance. It's definitely worth it!
