Dress Code Guidelines - Professional Attire

Women | Men


Acceptable Professional Women's Attire (Do's)

  • Must wear dresses with a jacket, suits (either skirts or pants) or skirts with a blouse or sweater and jacket (skirts and dresses must be knee length or longer)

  • Must have at least one pair of comfortable dress shoes that are flat, closed-toe, closed-heel and rubber-soled

Unacceptable Professional Women's Attire (Don'ts)

  • May not wear halter/tank tops, spaghetti straps, midriff-bearing tops, low or see-through blouses

  • May not wear spandex, leggings, leather, shorts, shorts designed to look like skirts, jeans or denim

  • May not wear athletic sandals, Birkenstocks, athletic shoes or flip-flops (The Forum requires a lot of walking; therefore, we recommend comfortable, flat, functional shoes. Heels are not recommended. Most hospitals require closed-toe, closed-heel, rubber-soled shoes.)
