International Forum

Tuition & Financial Assistance

The International Youth Leadership Forum (IYLF) is a tuition-based program. The tuition ranges from $4,720 to $4,820 and includes accommodations, breakfasts and dinners, instruction, supervisory personnel, program materials, all forum activities, all in-country travel; transportation during the Forum and roundtrip airfare from a designated United States departure airport to the forum site. Students will need money only for lunches and incidentals they wish to purchase.

Tuition and Travel Protection Plan
Attending students are encouraged to purchase the optional Tuition and Travel Protection Plan. Click here to review details.

Financial Assistance

Community Fundraising
The National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF) makes every effort to assist students who wish to raise funds for part or all of their tuition through fundraising.

If you require financial assistance, NYLF has prepared a special Fundraising Guide to help you raise the necessary funds. In addition, the Office of Admissions is available to guide you in your fundraising efforts.

Need a great idea for fundraising? Read the success stories of students who raised full or partial tuition to attend their program.

For more information regarding fundraising, please contact the Office of Admissions.

Scholarship Fund
The National Youth Leadership Forum Foundation has established a scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to qualified nominees. The Foundation awards a limited number of partial and full scholarships based on financial need, scholastic merit, leadership achievements and other factors.

All scholarship application deadlines for the 2008 IYLF have passed. It is too late to apply for a scholarship.

In the event that you are preliminarily granted an award, your notification letter will ask you to finalize the award through submitting a copy of the 2006 1040 Federal Income Tax Form from the individual who claimed you as a dependent. The 1040 Federal Income Tax form serves as proof of financial need as indicated upon the applicant's Scholarship Application. The National Youth Leadership Forum cannot grant any scholarship money without receiving sufficient proof of income. If you require further information, please contact the Office of Admissions.

Scholarship applicants should expect e-mail notification of the review results within two weeks of the scholarship deadline. Scholarship applicants who did not provide an operable e-mail address will receive their review results by mail shortly thereafter.
